New Jersey School Closures and Delayed Openings Due to Snow on Friday (Nov. 22, 2024)

Northern New Jersey was gearing up for the season's first winter weather event on Friday, leading several school districts to announce schedule changes.
The National Weather Service issued winter weather advisories for Morris, Passaic, Sussex, and Warren counties, which were in effect from 7 p.m. Thursday to 10 a.m. Friday.
Up to 4 to 6 inches of snow were expected in the higher elevations of Passaic and Sussex counties, while Morris and Warren counties could receive 1 to 4 inches from Thursday night through Friday morning.
